A useful software... MPEG Streamclip

It's free, it's cool and you will never live without it again: Mpegstreamclip allows to extract from DVD, VCD, VOB files, almost any other formats you can think of and allow you to convert it to the format you want... So for instance if you plan to do your portfolio, you might want to extract your work from your previous Video DVDs (unless you were smart enough to keep your original editing...) and convert to DV format...
